WELCOME INFORMATION

TAA invites you to attend the 2012 Annual Convention. The Annual Convention is the premier association-sponsored event dedicated exclusively to the auction professional and the auction industry.

Auctioneers from across Texas join together to network with fellow auctioneers, attend educational sessions customized for auction professionals to earn their CE requirements, and visit one-on-one with exhibiting companies that offer the products and services you need to become more profitable, promote your auction company and help your auctions run more accurately and smoothly.

Thursday Evening – Will take us back in time when we visit Dick’s Classic Garage. Attendees will be treated to a buffet dinner and you will be allowed to bring in your beverage of choice. Dick’s Classic Garage will showcase vehicles and memorabilia from the 1930’s though the 1950’s. Considered the Golden Years of American automotive manufacturing, the Museum will take guests from the Great Depression to World War II and up to the rockin’ 1950’s.

Friday Evening – Fun Auction – The fun auction is an integral part of the convention. This is a major fundraiser for TAA. Please don’t forget to bring your item to help support this event.
Sunday Morning – Memorial Breakfast – The convention comes to a close with this breakfast. This event is a time for attendees to gather to remember members of our auction family who are in need of our prayers or are no longer with us. This is a quiet time to reflect and pay our respect to those families.

The Contests – Register early for the auctioneer contests. You could be the next …. State Champion, Ringman Champion, Rookie Champion, Senior Champion. Don’t forget to gather those photos and award-winning advertising promotional pieces and enter the Advertising and Photo contests.
