Auctioneer Contest

Wow….I can’t believe it has nearly been a year already. I guess they say time flies when you’re having fun.

I would like to start by personally inviting each and every one of you to the 2011 convention. The location and planned events for this year are outstanding, and you will not want to miss the lineup of speakers that have been chosen by the committee.

Some may not know, but last year was my first time to attend the convention and also my first time to enter the Texas State Champion Auctioneer competition. So for those of you out there that think you might want to come or say that you have thought of entering the competition…..I say DO IT….

This year as your champion has brought my way numerous invites, job opportunities, pays increases, and created a higher demand for me as an auctioneer. I believe if I had said yes to every phone call or e mail that I have received, then I would be gone every weekend….

So make the effort to come to this year’s convention, enter the competitions, and enjoy what you can learn from the speakers, and most of all shake some hands, meet some great people in the auction business, and make new friends.

This year as your Texas State Champion has truly been a blessing with the friends that I have made, the advancements in my auction career, and the improvements in my auction business.
